Captain 8000HD Down?

Hi:

Today i receive a new Captain 8000HD , upload the new file , but dont know if the captain is down or i did it wrong

Hi thank you for the help, but doesnt work

this is what i did
1. upload factory bin using loader 1.26
2. upload lates bin 6.81 using loader 1.26
3. hard reset the box
only see the free air channels

Still with the same problem.....I follow all the instructions from Software upgrade guide by mrokarvi. and doesnt work.

I have a Pansat and works fine.\

go and check your sat setting they might be of ,copy them down from your pansat and then enter them on your captaing...

Hi:

The channel list is ok, i can see channel 100 and 101 that are free, but cannot see any other channel. today i upgrade to version 683, and still having the same problem.

Are you aming at the right birds, what are your sat settings..and what kind of dish and lnb's do you have.....

hi, is the same one that i use for the pansat, right now i disconnect the captain and connect the pansat and works fine. can see all the channels without problems. on the captain only see the 100 and 101 and others free channels but not others. when scan for channel , i get all the list.

This is what i do.
1. turn off the stb
2. open loader software with the new bin 683
3. turn on stb
4. wait for the loader finish
5. do a factory reset
6. cconfigure and scan channel

stiil having teh same problem. before this box a i have a viewsat and a pansat and work fine, easy setup. dont know what happen with this stb.

do not do the factory reset after you load the file also make sure you have program the captaing 8k receiver with the correct factory bin....

i install the factory bin, then install the new bin, same problem. when i install the new is supposed to replace the factory bin right?

hi:

yes, already try that. find the sattelite and scan the channel, everything looks perfect, i can watch channels 100 and 101 , but the rest of the channel are scramble, i used the latest bin, i have a confusion , dont know if it is like pansat that we need to load a new boot firmware on december to the stb.
