i have a motorolla phone, my carrier is tmobile. i changed my unlock code and i dont remember wat it is. we have tried calling tmobile and haveing them reset the phone, but something about the security has been changed on it, idk. they say not to try to figure out the code cus that will fry the sim card. so wat do i do? am i jus screwed?

You have to unlock your mobile before changing the other country carriers..It can be done by many ways..But i suggest you to use the codes..This is the safe method of unlocking..If you need an unlocking code, get it from your network provider...

When you buy a new mobile phone you will probably get a good deal by signing up with a service provider at the same time. To make sure you stick with the plan, your service provider will lock your phone, making it impossible to use the phone with other providers or take advantage of the full GSM capabilities of your handset when traveling the world. Nor will you be able to use your sim card in other phones, or other sim cards in your phone.
