WARNING CAPTIVE WORKS USERS OF CW700 & CW800

To all those who have not upgrade to either Bin 1.92 or 1.93 you will not be able to use future releases until you do. I know many say if it aint broke why fix it and refuse to load current file. If you do not load one of these 2 files then you will not be able to update on next ECM until you do. If yo notice the file size for these 2 files are larger than normal. There is information contained in these 2 files that will not be there on future releases and so you will not be able to use future files. The structure of the memory have been moved around and without one of these 2 files loaded in the box future files will not work for you. As long as the file size is larger you can load that file only. But as soon as you see the file size go back to normal release sizes then you will need to have converted to the new file structure. Think of it like a New Factory file (even though it is not a factory file).

You will need to load this file to use future bin files for DN and Bev.
Added Serial Security

!!! WARNING !!!

Follow instruction carefully when inputting serial number. Do not use Published Serial Numbers as each box has its own and if serial number you input now does not match serial number on SECURITY CHIP your box may not work on future releases. All boxes will work on this release no matter what serial you use but you will not have another chance to change it to correct one later. This will be your last chance to fix serial from last time you put serial on earlier release. So for all those that put serial in wrong last time this file will fix that. Do not use serial from another box as in later files it will check to see that you match the correct serial for your unit from SECURITY CHIP on board. Remember just because you can input any serial this time do not think it will work on next release. It will check what you put this time on next release not this release. So follow instructions.

1.Load new file to box either with USB or Serial cable.

2.After reboot it will ask you to input serial number for your box. You can find your serial number on the underside of your receiver. Number will start with CW7S---------- followed by 9 or 10 digits. You will need to enter only the 9 or 10 digit numerical number of the serial number. If serial is 9 digits long then only put 9 digits do not add anything in the 10th spot. If it is 10 digits long make sure you put all 10 digits and not just 9. Serial on bottom of receiver must match what is in the SECURITY CHIP.

3.You will be asked to input serial number a second time to verify that you did not make a mistake. If you input same both times it will now reboot your box and you will be ready to watch TV.

AFTER YOU HAVE READ THE OTHER INSTRUCTIONS.... After Rebooting, your receiver will show no channels

VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU HAVED SAVED YOUR USER CHANNEL LIST...

AFTER LOADING YOUR FILE AND FOLLOWING THE STEPS ON THE MESSAGE YOU WILL NOT HAVE ANY CHANNELS AT ALL..

YOU MUST GO TO MENU SYSTEM SETTINGS AND THEN TO USER CHANNEL LIST THEN CHOOSE TO LOAD THE SAVE SETTINGS HIT OK, THIS WILL BRING BACK ALL YOUR SETTINGS BACK AS YOU HAD THEM...

ON SOME OF THE RECEIVERS YOU WILL HAVE TO RE-SCAN YOUR SAT'S AND EVERYTHING ELSE YOU NEED IN THERE LIKE THE SORT BY SID, CHANNEL LIST NEW VERSION ETC...
