If you don't have a usb port (as I indicated in the other thread you posted), your norton antivirus may well be blocking it. I had that problem with McAfee, it kept telling me there was a virus and wouldn't let me open it. I had our IT people at my office check it and it was clean. What you need to do is temporarily disable Norton. You should be able to do that by clicking on the Norton icon and going to its control panel. Just turn it off for 15 or 20 minutes (if you can set that like in McAfee). Once you download and update your box, you can turn Norton back on. The pain is, each time you need to update, you will have to do this. Your best bet is to update your 7100 using the jump/flash drive in the usb port.
