    Default What can a1.67 GHz PowerPC G4 processor be compared to as far as Intel and AMD?

    I am looking at buying an old Powerbook with a 1.67 GHz PowerPC G4 and was wondering what Intel or AMD processor it could be compared to. I am not a mac person so I have no idea.

    Realistically speaking there is no comparison since the processor thats in a Mac is Engineered differently then a intel or AMD. functionality is different Apple's are great at Desktop PublishingBuilding Webpages/DesignCADPhotoShop.Pc's are Good at everything elseIncluding gaminghigher end processors can Function just as well as any mac though.Also remember there is no "right click" on an Apple.
