Limesat Loader and Loading Bins via RS232
It is now Confirmed:

Limesat uses a Null Modem Cable.

Limesat support has sent a workaround if the USB drive doesnt respond:

To load the file using my RS232 port with the Limesat loader.

Follow these steps:

1) Download and install Limesat Loader

2) Hold the power button on the front panel and turn on the switch from the back (it will put the receiver in "Boot" mode)

3) Open the Limesat Loader and select the factory file (V1.02 or V1.03) or load latest bin (v248 new).

4) Select the appropriate com port and hit "start"

The Progress Bar should start to fill if this procedure works

It is very slow (can take up to 15 minutes to load)

Hope this helps to bring back the USB port back to life for those Receivers that do not recognize the USB stick.

If not, you will have to always load your files using the RS232 port until a proper fix for this isssue is released.
