I have a new laptop after my other one broke. The only place for my music now is on my ipod as my old itunes is unavailable. When i downloaded itunes for my new laptop i tried to sync my ipod but was unable to as it was already synced to the itunes on my old laptop. I was wondering if there was anyway to get the music from my ipod to my new itunes without losing all of the music as my new itunes wants to erase my ipod.

If you already have your 5 synched computers, go back to a computer you used and in the tools/options or something, choose 'Deauthorize Computer'. That should give you another sync to work with. Plug it in to your new computer and there's usually a popup that asks you if you want to transfer purchases. If you do that you might have to re-add any cd's you put on your iPod, but everything you bought will make it to new iTunes. If that box doesn't pop up, you'll have to go hunting through the menus on the top.

"if there was anyway to get the music from my ipod to my new itunes"You can searhc this forum's past questions - 5 or 6 different people post this same question every day." have a new laptop after my other one broke"I have to ask - "Limewire"?"When i downloaded itunes for my new laptop i tried to sync my ipod but was unable to as it was already synced to the itunes on my old laptop."That's odd. I installed iTunes on my computer at work and plug my iPod into it every day. My iPod has yet to be erased. Of course, on my work computer, iTunes is configured for manual music management. (in iTunes, click on your iPod on the left side of the screen, then choose the summary tab).

It won't be a problem if you use AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer. It automatically transfers your iPod and iPhone music, video, playlist, photos to computer and iTunes. Backup all your music and video in a couple of clicks. Really makes music and videos sharing pretty simple and enjoyable. Wish this can help and good luck.I think its step by step guide is most helpful. http://iphone-to-computer.net/transfer-songs-videos-photos-playlists-from-ipod-to-computer-itunes.htmlIt is easy to use and you can try it now.http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&newwindow=1&q=site%3Aiphone-to-computer.net++avcware+ipod+transfer&btnG=Search&aq=f&oq=&aqi=
