Ok so, I updated to the 2.1 iHub file, and then went in to load the 417, but since nothing was working, I thought I should see if the upgrade had done something to the serial number, as the last iHub file did. So I loaded file number 263, clicked ok, and now all that lights up is the "sonicview", in the front. What did I do wrong, and more importantly, why isn't it turning on. I've tried a hard-reset but all it does is turn the "Sonicview" light off. I've also tried unhooking the iHub from the back but still no luck. Any help?

try stb button on remote
It didn't turn on.): Perhaps I should have been a little more exact. The 9876 only comes on for a split second, and then it goes away, but the blue Sonicview light is still on. Also, my router says that it can sense the iHub working, yet there are no numbers and nothing pops up on the t.v

I have had the exact problem.

When loading the new 417 file, the unit reset and won't properly turn back on.

BLue sonicview light on, numbers flash for a brief second, ihub is being read by wiznet.

Nothing onscreen.

HELP!!!!!

well you can use cable & loader to load or there is a way with USB i think you put usb with the file you want to load in then while holding down power on front turn back power switch off then on & that should force the file to load good luck ...if not try the loader & cable way it works evertime

Found the USB instructions :)

Load the factory bin to your usb stick.
Insert the stick and shut the box off from the rear switch.
While holding the "ok" button in on the box, restart from the rear switch.
This will put the box in USB mode and you can use the buttons on the box to navigate and force load the file.
Restart as normal and load the current file for your box .
If your on component video, you'll need to downgrade to standard video (yellow output) to see the Usb mode screen.

GOOD LUCK :D
