New Rumors that are floating around on the Net now on SVlan

C/P from another Site...

Update

Reports are that the SV Lan Server is freezing badly ... as was expected as more ppl try the SV Lan and is lending itself to my very strong feeling that this SV Lan Server is the exact same one that starting blocking all legit I-Hubs and Newlinks commencing Nov 5, 2010

The only thing that I can agree with about this SV Lan Team is that they cannot be trusted and no one can know what their plan is in the end.

It makes absolutely no sense for the Team to have released the Conversion Files for SV Lan.

Unless they honestly believe that once converted they can no longer be reverted back to I-hubs or Newlinks. I do not believe that the SV Team is very happy about users using older Bins to do P$S and they may have been their last ditch effort to punish Users that decide to do P$S. WHo knows anymore. Only time will tell.

Many users are now trying to revert their Converted SV Lans back to I-hubs and Newlinks, but so far no luck, that I have read anywhere.

But where there is a will there is a way...... stay tuned Boys and Girls for the continuing Saga of the SV Team and their failed attempts at IKS and trying to shaft the Users, those that Butter their Bread. Seems to may they are either too stupid to realize this or too arrogant for thinking they can continue to try to pull the wool over pp's eyes.

Update Software were at freeneeds the Sonicview's home site is now a close site apparently they are doing upgrades to the site....if I were you I would not log in there.....Rumors has it that it got taken over do to a Court Order law suit that DN had with Sonicview and any site posting the Sonicview related files were going to be shut down...

End of C/P

I don't know who started this rumor, but I have no trouble whatsoever converting the dongle from svlan to ihub...it's actually very simple. There are plenty of reports floating around of others who are successful too.

I think the reason they released the conversion files was so ihub users could pay for the new serial to get their old hardware working, thus making Sonicview more coin. That makes sense to me...they realized that not every ihub user wants to pay full price for new hardware and serial, so they released a cheaper solution (convert to svlan and buy serial number, which is cheaper than buying the whole svlan dongle) for people who already own the older hardware.

just loaded the new bin hd9 for svlan and i have already notice a significant improvement, the channel change is almost instant the freezing seems to have subsided but i haven't watched long enough to really be certain as the time passes i will watch and post my finding but it looks pretty good so far i hope this is the bin we have been waiting for. Also did a hard reboot and got pic almost instantly... if you have tested this product you know thats a plus.

ok i have been watching starz for the past three hours now not one freeze things look great so far... before i say good job sonic lets see if it will continue. I'm sure if the server remains stable we should have HD soon.

Just wanted to know.. after all the upgrading to Svlan? How are you all getting on to the correct server to get it to work? did you pay for the subscription? or is you old serial number working on private?
