DISH Carriage Dispute Heats Up in Quad Cities
Another retransmission consent skirmish has entangled d!sh network, this time in the Quad Cities market of Rock Island/Moline/East Moline, Ill., and Davenport, Iowa.
WHBF, the local CBS affiliate, told viewers Wednesday that it's negotiating a new carriage agreement with DISH. If a new agreement is not reached soon, the broadcaster said the DBS provider could drop its signal after today (July 31).
As of press time, there was no comment from DISH on the matter.
