Warner Adds 85 Classic Movies to HD VOD

The list includes Casablanca and A Clockwork Orange.

Washington, D.C. (August 14, 2008) -- Warner Bros. is adding 85 classic movies to cable and satellite's HD VOD lineups, including Casablanca, Full Metal Jacket and Ben Hur.

The studio says the movies will be available starting today on DIRECTV, Dish Network and cable services Time Warner Cable, Comcast, Cox Cable, Charter and Canada's Rogers Cable.


A Clockwork Orange comes to HD VOD.

Warner Bros. says the release is in celebration of the company's 85th anniversary. The company's press release does not offer pricing details, but Comcast today is charging up to $4.99 to watch some of Stanley Kubrick's films such as A Clockwork Orange.

The studio says not all films will be available on every cable and satellite system.

But here is a list of the movies that will be added to HD VOD lineups:
