In addition to second quarter numbers, Intelsat announced a series of new contracts.

NPR signed a multi-transponder, multi-year contract renewal for satellite capacity that will support the distribution of public radio programming across the United States. NPR operates the Public Radio Satellite System (PRSS) on behalf of all public radio stations and program distributors, delivering services that reach more than 32 million devoted listeners, Intelsat said.

Also, OlympuSAT has renewed and expanded its capacity on Intelsat's Galaxy 23 satellite, located at 121 degrees. OlympuSAT provides Spanish language, faith and families and top independent networks through the satellite capacity.
