Default VS Pro Freezing on the new bin. Hot vs. cooled

I am now testing two Viewsat Pro receivers. The last bin I put in VSPRO-080109A. One receiver, I had reinstalled the heat sink and added CPU fan. The other one still has the double sided foam tape. I found that the one that is being cooled, only picture freeze for 15 seconds. The other one will picture freeze for two mins. I am going to reinstall the other heat sink and add a CPU fan. This is just an FYI for every one who is testing the VS PRO.

Awsome to know. Please post some pics for other members so they can add this mod to there recievers. Not everyone can test for 12v on a supply.

It was freezing every 20 mins. for 8 hours last night 1-10-08. This was on two VS Pro. I just got home and I will ask my friend how it was today. He is testing one for me. He is retired and watches a lot of TV.
