THE NOOB FRIENDLY SERIES: BY AMRINDER

This is Amrinder's Noob Friendly PUFF Recovery bin guide. The files in this thread
are C/P from "Ukronic" and "Musky's" original post. Note:This is just a "NOOB FRIENDLY" guide for
the official puff recovery bin which was posted by musky a day before this and is only for avoiding less confusion about how to use the original recovery bin in less then 10 easy steps and in 2 ways for noobs to
understand.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Info about PUFF Recovery Bin:
If you are flashing a 896KB Recovery bin file to your receiver for eigther getting stuck with the word "ON" or the last "F" in the word PUFF
on the display screen located at the front of your receiver or if you are just using this bin to clean out old garbage
from the flash drive of your receiver then at the end of the process you "WILL" have to do a Complete/Full rescan of
all your sattelite/antenna settings(factory default setting) manually.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Things to do before you use this bin or follow steps below:
Before doing this type of stuff i would insist you to write down all your antenna settings and keycode information to avoid
confusion/problems where you dont know what thing to scan and what to not.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This process can work 2 ways:

Part1:
If your receiver turns on perfectly without freezing on the word "ON" or last "F" from the word "PUFF" then this
is the method you use. It does not matter if you get picture/no picture or even if your getting "scrambled or bad channel".

1)first you open up UkRoNiCs BOX Updater Ver.421 or the GTRom 27.02 Loader which will be both included in the attachment.

2)Then after you choose the bin "Ukr_258-PUFF-RecoVVry.bin 896k" from the loader(file/loaders included in attachment)then click
on the download button on the loader that you are using.

3)wait until it completes,rescan sattelites,enjoy

Part2:
If you are stuck on something Like the word "ON" or "F"(last letter of the term PUFF) for sometime type of reason Then you should use this method of using the recovery bin.

1)First Open up UkRoNiCs BOX Updater Ver.420. or the Blacklist v1.4 loader included in this attachment at the bottom of this thread.

2)Then choose the bin "Ukr_258-PUFF-RecoVVry.bin 896k" from the attachment below this thread and turn your receiver receiver on from the back switch and wait until you see the first "P" or "B" on the display screen of your receiver then click the "Download" or "Write" button on the loader and wait until the dashes stop rolling(----) and your channel boots up.

3)hook up your receiver to your T.V and do a Factory Reset and scan all your sattelites/antenna settings

4)Enjoy...
