Connected receiver with null cable and loaded the boot_ltc80_06_1019.bin, as a boot file (it comes with the b-80 upgrade).
Click Load then power on receiver. IMPORTANT: It will FAIL to load.
2. DO NOT DO ANYTHING, leave the pc, with the error, just sitting there, walk away for about 3-5 minutes and like magic, the b-80 will appear.
3. Do NOT shut the box off, after you get the b-80, load the 3500S_081012_b80_v06_api.bin. (it also comes with the b-80 upgrade)
4. Power off box wait about 15 seconds, then power back on
5. Load current bin
6. You can now load a channel list or blind scan birds, however you would normally do it.
Hope this saves others the work of jtagg'ing their 3500, may even work with other Pansats, but I do not know....
