Stanley joins Army research team

ARLINGTON, Va., The U.S. Army's Aviation and Missile Research Development Engineering Center has chosen Stanley Inc. to join its Intuitive Research and Technology team.

It said AMRDEC awarded it a five-year, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity task order contract worth $30 million, with the exercise of four options, to provide technical data management support services.

"Stanley is entering its second decade of support to the Technical Data Management Division of the Aviation and Missile Research Development Engineering Center, Engineering Directorate," said Scott Hill, Stanley vice president. "We are proud of the role we have played in support of their mission and look forward to continuing to bring our years of experience in technology innovation to support the warfighter."

AMRDEC is a major center for Army research, development and engineering technology and services for aviation and missile platforms.

Stanley said it will provide configuration and data management, status accounting and standardization support for the Aviation and Missile Command managed weapon systems and their components.
