Two people are in hospital following two separate stabbings in Calgary early Sunday morning.
The first incident took place in the Forest Lawn area at about 2 a.m. MT, where police allege a prostitute stabbed a male customer.
The man was taken to hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. The sex-trade worker was taken into police custody.
At about 4 a.m. MT, a man was dropped off at Peter Lougheed Centre after being stabbed in the neck.
The man remains in hospital in critical condition.
Police released few details on the incidents, saying both investigations are in their early stages.
