A man is dead and a police officer is injured after two separate collisions at the same London, Ont., intersection.
A 74-year-old man from St. Thomas, Ont., was killed late Friday after his car was struck by a drunk driver at Colonel Talbot Road and Decker Drive, police said.
They said the impact sent both cars off the road.
A 51-year-old man from Dutton, Ont., faces several charges including impaired driving causing death.
A police officer parked at the scene early Saturday suffered non-life-threatening injuries when his cruiser was struck by another vehicle.
A 37-year-old woman from St. Thomas is charged with impaired driving. She was not injured in the collision.
