Installing switch cw41 or sw21 on cw650

thanks all for your help so far, I get all my channels on 119 now I put in a switch cw41 and I have lost all stations, I did a re search but no channels show up, tried a switch sw21 and still no stations, ? Then i removed the switch, did factory re set, re searched stations and got all tv back again, what am i doing wrong? thanks
