Should I get a Blu-Ray drive in my notebook?

Well I am getting a custom order notebook and I was wondering if I should pay the extra $300-$400 to get a Dual-Layer Blu-ray Disc Reader, which is $300 more, a 2x Blu-ray Writer/DVD±RW Burner, which is $400, or stick with a regular 8X Dual Layer CD-RW/DVD±RW Burner? The notebook is 17 inches with 1080p 1920 x 1200 LCD. So to sum it up Blu-ray or standard drive?

If you are going to hook up your Laptop to a Large HD TV, or going to use it to copy BluRay movies, sure, if not I wouldn't bother. Your will notice a difference on your laptop monitor but not enough to bother with. If you are going to go BluRay spend the extra 100 to get a burner. Think about how many hours you work to get the 400 bucks and then decide if it is worth it. $400 isn't much to me any more, but I would rather spend that money on something else down the road. In a year I bet there will be an extrenal USB BluRay for 150 bucks.
