What is the best brand of DVD burner (hardware)?

Plextor was the best, but they no longer makes consumer DVD burners. Nowadays Plextor simply repackages Pioneer DVD burners and them for twice as much. What are the top brands for DVD+/-RW drives?Is Lite-On any good compares to other top brands?Please, I'm just looking for DVD+/-RW burner. Do not recommend Blu-ray burners.Thanks for the suggestions. I have decided on a Samsung SH-S203H. I'll leave the best answer to votes.

i like and always trust Lacie. Their products are superb.

I bought a Sony DRU-810A (discontinued) after I bought a cheap 20 character brand name for $30 that only lasted 3 months.I burn a whole LOT of discs with this thing, probably 1500+ since I got it in 2005. Payed like $60 for it. Never a coaster.However, I do not know if todays build quality is the same.
