Police say they're looking for three men who committed a home invasion in Ajax, Ont., east of Toronto, disguised as police officers.
Durham police say three men, dressed as police officers and driving a vehicle with a red flashing light and a siren, entered a residence Tuesday afternoon indicating they had a search warrant.
The six people inside the house were handcuffed using plastic ties and locked in a basement room.
The suspects, described as being in their mid-20s to early 30s, with black hair and Eastern European accents, then ransacked the home and left.
The victims, who were not injured, eventually freed themselves and set off the house alarm.
Investigators say they don't believe it was a random act and the investigation is continuing.
