Are you still able to download sound and graphic drivers for Windows XP?

I know someone that has regular windows xp and have installed it but the sound driver and graphics driver is missing. I guess the Microsoft website isn't showing it and basically telling you to upgrade to Vista, is this true or is there a website where you can download the drivers for xp?

Go to the original maker of the computer. Look for links like "Drivers and Support," or even just "Downloads." If you can tell who made the soundcard, google for it and see if the OEM doesn't have one. Barring that, my third choice would be http://www.driverguide.com . They have tons of old drivers.

Try this program, the only free driver scan that I have seen. The others scan, then want to charge you to update.Edit : Lois A , that program does a "free scan" then like I said then they charge you to update them and you don't have to join like the other program.

Download it here http://www.driverzip.com, but if you dont find it you can download the Driver Dectective here http://driver-detective.driverzip.com/ it make the checking to update the drivers you need
