Babysitter charged with molesting children
LOUISVILLE, Ky., -- A Kentucky woman has been charged with sexually abusing seven children while babysitting them between 2001 and 2009, court records indicate.
Tiffany Taylor, 27, was formally charged last year with rape, sodomy and sexual abuse, The Louisville (Ky.) Courier-Journal reported. Details of the charges were released during a court hearing Tuesday.
The alleged victims, all members of one family, were under 12 when they were allegedly abused, court documents said. The children reported that Taylor forced them to perform sexual acts, to watch her or to look at pornography.
One boy said Taylor raped him in a bathtub when he was 8 or 9, and a girl said Taylor gave her marijuana and made her watch pornography, telling her the two of them should do what was done in the video.
The newspaper said Taylor may have been a victim of abuse. The Louisville Police Crimes Against Children unit lists her as a victim in one of its investigations.
Taylor is under house arrest.
