Looking back at a 10 year sabbatical here... boy, have things changed...

I'll get right to the subject:
Own a property off grid, looking for WiFi internet - any suggestions?
There is (rather weak) signal on the Rogers and Telus network. Both offer mobile hubs. I will run a 24/hr video surveillance (4 cameras) retrievable / watchable on my cell. Any experience you'd like to share, with above mentioned networks mobile WiFi hubs, is appreciated.

Try SkyFi from TekSavvy link: TekSavvy - SkyFi
They use the mobile phone internet to bring high speed internet to your home, prices are decent.

10 Mbps Down / 1 Mbps Up for $54.95
6 Mbps Down / 1 Mbps Up for $39.95

Not as fast as cable, but it's better then DSL and they plan on upgrade to offer fast speed with in the next few years.

If there is no cable wifi near you, try 4gantennashop who has Tmobile broadband. If Sprint works at your site look at 4gcommunity. But it sounds like you're North. I would figure out where the towers are and then what band (using a phone app like lte discovery or signalcheck) then order the appropriate directional antenna and point it at the tower. I have a Wilson signal booster that comes with an antenna. I get 0-1 bars of Sprint signal in my driveway. With the amp and antenna I get a solid 2-4 bars. The signal booster I have repeats the signal into the whole house for all devices. Other routers may have an external antenna connection. With Tmobile I don't have a signal inside the house. Maybe 0-1 bars of LTE. With the booster I get 2-3 bars and can download 2-3mb per second. Hope this helps.
