Betty White set for first 'View' visit
NEW YORK, (UPI) -- Comic actress Betty White is confirmed to make her first guest appearance on "The View" in New York, ABC announced Thursday.
The 88-year-old star of the upcoming sitcom "Hot in Cleveland" is to appear on Monday's edition of the daytime chat show.
The former "Golden Girls" and "Mary Tyler Moore" cast member has been enjoying a resurgence in popularity this past year, starring in the hit big-screen comedy "The Proposal," receiving the Screen Actors Guild lifetime achievement award and serving as host of an episode of "Saturday Night Live."
White's "Cleveland" co-stars Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Malick and Jane Leeves are to be guests on Wednesday's installment of "The View," ABC said.
