Can someone tell me a video card that is just as good as a ati radeon hd 3870?

I have an ATI Radeon HD 3870 card in my gaming pc and it just went out. Looking to buy a card of equal speed or possibly a little better. Also would like to know of a good motherboard to go with it. Replacing that also. Any suggestions would be wonderful. Trying not to spend over 350. Please...Checked Newegg already, having trouble deciding what is good and what's not.
