DARLINGTON, S.C. (AP)—More than 100 vintage race cars were on display at a South Carolina race track for its historic racing festival.

Organizers said Sunday the second annual event at Darlington Raceway featured 135 cars from 22 states and Canada. Also on hand were racing greats Cale Yarborough, David Pearson, Ned Jarrett and Junior Johnson. Open-wheel champion Johnny Rutherford also took part in question-and-answer and autograph sessions.

Track president Chris Browning said the event gives people the chance to get close to cars and drivers who shaped motorsports through the years.

Darlington, which celebrated its 60th season of racing this year, will host the Sprint Cup Southern 500 next Mother’s Day weekend.
