PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. - There was no fast getaway in this bank robbery because the mode of transport was a walker.
The RCMP in Prince George, B.C. say a man in his 70's who uses a walker robbed a branch of the Bank of Nova Scotia Friday.
He got away with a small amount of cash, but not for long.
Police had a good description of him: toothless, wearing a straw hat and using the walker of course, and he was quickly arrested nearby.
Police say no weapon was produced during the robbery. (CKPG)
