Northern Michigan media are reporting the chief technology officer with the Traverse Bay Area Intermediate School District is facing numerous sexual assault charges.
Michael Robert Porter, once employed in Sault Ste. Marie by the Eastern Upper Peninsula Intermediate School District, was charged Monday with possession of child pornography, manufacturing child pornography and using a computer for criminal activity.
Porter has also been accused of allegedly sexually assaulting an underage girl.
It's not known if any students were involved.
