Gibson, Worthington sign 3-year deals
PITTSBURGH, (UPI) -- The Pittsburgh Steelers said Ohio State University graduates Thaddeus Gibson and Doug Worthington have each agreed to a 3-year contract with the team.

The Steelers said outside linebacker Gibson and defensive end Worthington are the first rookie draft choices to come to contract terms with the team, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Friday.

Gibson, the fourth-round pick, has been unable to practice with the Steelers since the three-day minicamp in April due to the NFL policy of requiring rookies to wait until graduation, which for Ohio State comes at the end of a quarter that extends into June.

Worthington, the seventh round draft pick, has already graduated from the school.
