im having problems with my xbox fully connecting to my pc, windows 7 based. help plz?

it is connected to the router, it wont connect to my pcno matter what i do my xbox connection always terminates and when the media center on my pc checks down the list its never connects to the xbox, then the xbox fails to connect. the pc finishes the setup but the xbox still doesnt connect to it. im very confused as to whats going on. and when i look at extenders in the setting on my pc it says the xbox360 is ready to use but cant connect??

Just connect it to the router. It will work perfectly that way.

i dono if u know this but microsoft recently disconnected all xbox users with chips for copying games. if ur one of those ppl, thats y ur xbox isnt working online. if u havent got a chip, i have no clue whats going on.

I had simillar problem, downloaded all the patches and looked at blog after blog and nothing worked. I wasted hours trying to do it and finally found that I should've given up early on. Sorry to not have the magic answer but its an error in Media Center. Try using ZUNE, that actually works.

I don't think XBOX360 is compatible with the Windows 7 Media Edition yet, since it's pretty new I would assume they're working on a patch for it, as Vista is the only OS supported right now.
