UNION TOWNSHIP, LEBANON COUNTY —
Some Lebanon County veterans got on their motorcycles Sunday to help their brothers and sisters in arms.
About 50 people with the Post 910 American Legion Riders rode from their post near Jonestown to the Lebanon VA Medical Center.
They brought more than $5,000 worth of supplies like blankets and games to the veterans in the hospital.
"We spend about an hour, hour-and-a-half with the patients, talking to them and stuff, and they love the camaraderie because they know we know what they're going through. We've been there," Post 910 Riders President Larry Gettle said.
This is the fourth year for the VA Benefit Ride.
The ride ended at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery for the annual veterans day program at the cemetery
