PHOENIX, May 20 (UPI) -- Adam LaRoche hit two of Arizona's six home runs Wednesday and the Diamondbacks coasted past San Francisco 13-1.

Although the Giants are five games above .500 for the season, they have won just four times in 15 games against teams from their own division.

LaRoche hit a solo homer in the second inning and then had a three-run shot as part of a six-run eighth.

Justin Upton had a solo homer in the fourth, Stephen Drew had a three-run blast in the fifth and there were two-run shots by Chris Snyder in the sixth and Kelly Johnson in the eighth.

The only Arizona run not scored on a home run came on a double by Snyder in the eighth.

Ian Kennedy (3-2) was the beneficiary of the burst of homers, going eight innings while giving up a run on three hits. He struck out nine in helping hand San Francisco its second loss in six games.

Three of the homers were hit off Todd Wellemeyer (2-4), who was charged with five runs over five innings. He walked six.
