ATLANTA, May 15 (UPI) -- Martin Prado's two-run, one-out single with the bases loaded in the ninth inning Friday rallied Atlanta to a 6-5 victory over Arizona.

The Diamondbacks let a four-run lead get away in the seventh, but went back in front in the top of the ninth when Conor Jackson delivered a one-out double and scored on a single by Justin Upton.

Chad Qualls, however, could not hold the lead in the bottom of the inning.

Qualls (0-2) gave up a leadoff single to Eric Hinske and Omar Infante's would-be sacrifice bunt turned into an infield single. Nate McLouth moved the runners up with a sacrifice and Melky Cabrera was walked intentionally to fill the bases.

Prado then worked Qualls to a 2-2 count before driving a single to right that brought home the tying and winning runs.

Atlanta overcame a four-run deficit in the seventh on a solo homer by Brian McCann and a three-run blast by McLouth.

The ninth-inning struggles have been typical this year for Arizona, which has lost seven in a row. The Diamondbacks have been outscored in the ninth inning 34-7.

Despite giving up the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth, Billy Wagner (2-0) picked up the victory.
