All of the Los Angeles runs came on homers, with Hideki Matsui smashing a two-run shot in the second to open the offensive surge.
Wilson added a three-run homer in the fourth and then hit a two-run blast in the sixth. Matsui was aboard on both of the Wilson homers, which doubled his season total to four.
The Angels won for the sixth time in eight contests and inched within 7 1/2 games of first-place Texas in the American League West.
Ervin Santana (12-8) picked up the win, allowing a lone run on three hits in seven innings. He has won four of his last five starts.
