MLS: Kansas City 0, Toronto FC 0 (tie)
TORONTO, (UPI) -- Jimmy Nielsen notched his fourth shutout of the year, making three saves Saturday to help the Kansas City Wizards earn a 0-0 draw with Toronto FC.
Nielsen stopped Jacob Peterson in the 10th minute when his shot deflected off the netminder's face. Nielsen made another save late in the first half, charging off the line to the right side to stymie Toronto's Julian de Guzman.
De Guzman had another shot at Nielsen in the 65th minute, then got a great look but launched the ball well over the bar and into the stands in the 88th.
Kansas City (2-5-3) remained winless in its eighth straight game but notched its first road point with the draw.
Toronto (5-4-2) played a man short through much of the first half, but the Wizards couldn't capitalize.
