BOSTON, (UPI) -- Rajon Rondo posted a triple-double Sunday, powering Boston to a 97-87 win over Cleveland and evening their Eastern Conference semifinal series.
Rondo scored 29 points, grabbed 18 rebounds and dished off 13 assists while Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen each scored 18 points for the Celtics, who bounced back from the worst post-season drubbing in franchise history to knot the series 2-2.
The series now goes back to Cleveland for Tuesday's Game 5.
Tony Allen added 15 points off the bench to spark Boston, which put the Cavaliers away by holding them to 29.4 percent shooting over the final period and denying them a field goal over the final 4:34.
LeBron James led Cleveland with 22 points, nine rebounds and eight assists while Shaquille O'Neal added 17 points and Antawn Jamison contributed 14 in the defeat.
