NHL: Semifinals: Penguins 2, Montreal 1
PITTSBURGH, May 9 (UPI) -- The Pittsburgh Penguins jumped to the lead of the Eastern Conference semifinal with a 2-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens.
Sergei Gonchar and Kris Letang scored for the Penguins while Canadien Michael Cammalleri fouled Penguin goalie Marc-Andre Fleury's chance of a shutout in the final minute. Fleury blocked 32 shots in the win.
The Penguins are 3-2 in the best of seven series and could win their third straight semifinals when they meet the Canadiens again Monday in Montreal.
