Redman's eagle earns CVS 3rd-round tie

DANVILLE, Calif., -- Michele Redman notched an eagle, holing out from the 18th fairway Saturday en route to a share of the third-round lead of the CVS/pharmacy LPGA Challenge.
Redman's eagle allowed her to finish with a 4-under-par 68 and join a three-way tie for first place at 12-under 204.
Tied at the top with Redman at Blackhawk Country Club were LPGA Tour rookies Il Hee Lee (68) and second-round co-leader Beatriz Recari (70).
The trio were one stroke ahead of the other second-round co-leader, Gwladys Nocera, who slipped to a 1-under 71 Saturday, along with Wendy Ward, who fired a 3-under 69.
Holding sole possession of sixth place at minus-10 was Karine Icher (66).
