A Montreal funeral home belonging to the notorious Rizzuto family has been firebombed.
Police say the Loreto funeral home in the city's east end was hit just before 1 a.m. ET Thursday.
They say there is no indication of any injuries, and they are still trying to determine what type of device was used in the attack.
They also say they are questioning three people in connection with the incident, but there is no word if any charges have been laid.
Mourners sometimes gathered at the funeral home to pay respects to murdered members of the Rizzuto clan — most recently after the killing of Nicolo Rizzuto.
The large stone building is the highest-profile target to date in a rash of firebombings against Montreal businesses that began more than a year ago.
Police have said the attacks, which began with a spate of coffee-shop bombings, are a clear sign of an underworld power struggle.
