Voom HD Expands BSkyB Content Deal

[Satellite Today 01-26-09] Voom HD Networks has expanded a high-definition (HD) content deal with BSkyB, the company announced Jan. 23.
The expanded deal with BSkyB will see Voom bring its Rush HD content to Go!View, a subscription based video-on-demand offering from BSkyB for PlayStation Portable users. Rush HD is a linear HD channel devoted to extreme sports and adventures. It is available on Sky’s digital satellite platform.
“A large percentage of PSP owners are also extreme sports fans, and with the addition of Rush HD content to the Go!View lineup, we continue to expand our multiplatform distribution,” said Glenn Oakley, Voom HD Networks’ senior vice president of global operations
