World of Satellites II 3.12 (2008)

The software will then upload the latest satellite transponder data from the two SatcoDX servers (one is the main server and the other is a backup in case the main server is down). SatcoDX’s World of Satellites now has the latest satellite information. You can perform an update as many times as you wish to keep the software up-to-date with the latest data. The SatcoDX satellite list is constantly being updated since there are always changes occurring (new channels start operating, others stop transmitting or the parameters for existing channels change).

Once the activation code has been entered, the update feature of the software is unlocked and you can update the database with the latest information.
Go to the menu “Database Update” (third menu icon from the left) and click on “Update Complete Chart”.

Additional software features: “P” Profile Mode: permits you to view satellite channels based on your personal settings, for example: All Digital FTA Channels.

“Save As”: channel lists can be saved in a variety of different formats so that the lists can be further processed in other programs, for example, in order to print them.

“Print”: this easy-to-use feature makes it possible to print any customized channel list through your web browser with or without coverage zone images. It can also be transferred to your own home page as HTML data.

“Receiver Programming”: If your satellite receiver is SatcoDX Compatible, you can upload your customized channel list from the PC into your receiver via a null modem cable. There are several different protocols available. Some receivers require the use of an interface program usually provided by the manufacturer to upload the data.

“DishTrak”: Do you want to know what satellites you can even receive? A click on your location on the map will tell you what satellites are receivable from where you are plus will provide you with the coverage images and the necessary dish diameters for those satellites. The given values are approximations and might differ slightly from actual requirements.

“Channel Locator”: This feature allows you to search through every satellite channel using user-selectable parameters.
