This is only from my experience and not with cnx, but SV with hubs, you should check into it first. 2 dongles were needed as there was no way to "share" incoming and outgoing info between the 2 with 1 dongle. Also if your running your signal from one receiver to the other, boot out on main receiver to boot in on second, you will only get one receiver at a time. If you split the line from the satellite to go to both receivers you will get signal to both and be able to operate them independently. Not sure if it helps, but the operating systems are generally the same. Look into it.

IF a serial file server were used after the dongle sharing the same data packets to 2 stbs it might work provided they were on the same SID, tp freq, etc. BUT, if the 2 stbs weren't on the same SID I'm sure the sharing of one MAC addy for different servers outside your modem would cause a problem.
For all that trouble setting it up you might as well get another dongle!
