coolsat 6000 problems

hi i use a bell express view dish and have just got a coolsat 6000 i have 3 problems.
1. have to keep turning power off and on to get station.
2. keep getting scrambled channel notice
3. no information for many channels.
my dish is set to 91 and 82 i live north of toronto.
any help would be great thanks

Sounds like you have a bad switch or bad coaxial cable conection. Does it happen only when you change the channel or at random while watching tv?
What is your signal strength?

Set your time and date make sure you also set your time zone.

I presume you have the latest file loaded?

I had the same problem with mine...I put my switch out side and it rained on it. It then rusted and wouldn't switch fast any more. I have to change the channel then back a few time to get the channel to come on.

As for the channel guide...I have to turn my receiver off ever hour to get the next hour of whats on. Your date and time has to be right!! Toronto time zone should be -5 GMT.

For the channel guide I have put mine on channel 1352 and it gives me the guide for the next 48 hours.
