LOL, if you are waiting on an N3 fix, dream on
. Public are being attacked by DN so often now that it's ridiculous. Who says Private is not anymore stable? How many options of private do you know about? Stability and reliability is way better with private. You just need to go with the one that is good. Plus some private has way more layers of security than public. IMO, public is going to die out soon enough and only private will be up? Why? Because there is a huge difference in setting up a public and a private server. A public uses decodes control words from the sid in a indirect manner and there is no CW limit. The CW requests sent by the receivers can be unlimited. No need for caching either. In other words, you only need coding knowledge and probably 1 plastic for setting up an iks public. Public is way more advertised. DN loses more if public is up and that is always the primary target. On the other hand, Private uses many plastics. If DN manages to get a hold of some, they can get more to be up again plus they are paid by consumers to do so. But private is more inefficient as it is made to support more receivers and the is a CW limit of 20. More than that and you have freezing. You need cache and others to maximize efficiency. At the same time, for a DN attack it is more efficient.
There is nothing called a 'real sub.' A lot of the stbs that were up on public were already present. Someone just took a hold of one and coded a bin with the server settings in it.
"CNX,i-link,WF,topsat,satzen are all on the same public server" is incorrect. The sid listing is different. There is some link, but if sid listing is different then it's a different server. Perhaps they used to use the same one, who knows.
Here's a reason why public can die out faster: The idea behind a public iks seller is to sell as many units as possible and run away quickly befor DN catches him or her. Receivers are coded and sold to the distributors. Now when all possible selling is done, what's the profit he's making by the server being up? After all, it's a 'free server.' You're basically trusting him to keep it up as he's some sort of an altruist. Right. He's gonna run away sooner or later.
