I've only owned 2 Intel PCs in my life. Hated them. I've owned a total of 13 PCs now. I've found Sempron manages data a lot better than a Celeron. Both are single core, so if you're a heavy multi-tasker, I would recommend getting a Dual-Core. Such as an AMD Athlon 64x2, Turion 64 x2. If you're more concerned about speed, instead of data management, go for Intel. The processor core's clock faster, but thorough output will be lower than AMD's. Hope this helps.-ABC
