The Laptop version of the Core i7 should be available in time for the holiday season next year. This would give people a good reason to upgrade their laptops. Right now I'm still using my P4 laptop. As soon as the i7 goes into notebooks...I'm going to be buying one.In addition the Core i7 architecture is going to reach the Xeon line in Q1 2009. If you are doing heavy graphics, design, engineering, code compiling, etc. then you will greatly benefit from these.I'm also looking forward to seeing the 8 physical processing cores with the Core i7 next fall.
