Consumer Priority Service - How many years of coverage should I buy for my Apple MacBook pro 17"?

I recently purchased a Apple MacBook Pro 17" online. It costs me $2299 plus shipping. If thr unit should have an issue over the next few years I want to be fully covered so I will be purchasing the Consumer Priority Service extended warranty as well. The online dealer offers a 2 year or a 3 year for about $100 more, Is it worth the extra money for the 3 year warranty?

What you bought is a costly thing so it is prudent to protect it by extending the warranty. But the utmost thing you should remember is where you gonna extend it. Apparently, the manufacturer's warranty plans would be a bit money-involved, you can try the other sources.. I would suggest you cpscentral (Consumer Priority Service).. As the name implicates, it's potential and caring for their customers. Hope it would help..

CPCentral sucks they only give you 30 day's to register your product and then when something goes wrong they give you the run around to get your product taken care of they might even sent it back with a lame excuse and you are out of your money and warranty...

The extended warranty program is worth to go for. I had a bad experience when I relied only on the basic warranty. But with the suggestion of my friend I bought a extended warranty that helped me get my refrigerator repaired.

yes most of the time is worth it ...but some time you keep buying and buying the warranty and your appliance will most likely last between 7 to 12 years.....just when you forgot or stop buying the warranty.......that's when it will breakdown
