All you PVR users.....
Like you I love to record things and then be able to watch them at will. The problem is the hard drive fills up quickly. The next move for most of us is to either burn them on to DVD's, store them somewhere not to be viewed unless you burn them or toss them away into the abyss....

Keeping in mind now that HD space is getting very cheap, as cheap as burning. I have come across a great unit that solves the PVR storage issue.

To start I have a bunch of hard drives laying around doing nothing, so as an exercise I made two 4 HD each file servers using two very basic boxes and networked them. I now have 1.5 TB of storage out of a bunch of small drives to store all my media. I then purchased the Hauppauge MVP. This little beauty will wirelessly connect your PC file server to your Home Theater all with a nice GUI and remote. It also connected all my music to my Home Theater!

All I need to do is when my PVR HDD fills up, just dump it into my File server which is expandable!

Some of you may be doing this already but just wanted to share for those who want to keep all their media connected and accessible to the HT system.
